Subscriptions and bills

The average household pays for more recurring services than it can name. This page names yours.

How detection works

Endute studies your transaction history for payments that repeat: same merchant, similar amount, steady rhythm. It needs raw material to work with, so detection switches on once you have around three months of history, another reason the deep history import pays for itself. Detected subscriptions and bills appear on the Subscriptions page with their cadence and current price, and you confirm the real ones or dismiss the coincidences; a fortnightly supermarket habit can look like a bill until you say otherwise. The page merges what it detects with what you scheduled into one view, crowned by a hero card totalling your annual commitment, monthly cost and active subscription count, the three numbers that make the habit visible.

What it watches for you

  • Price changes. When a watched subscription starts charging a different amount, the page flags it, and the watch covers detected patterns and scheduled subscriptions alike, with no confirmation needed first. Streaming services count on nobody noticing the extra pound; now somebody does.
  • New detections. When something new starts charging on a rhythm, it gets surfaced rather than blending into the noise, which is how free trials that quietly converted get caught in month one instead of month nine.

Detection proposes, you decide

Confirming and dismissing is not busywork; it is the boundary between a watchlist you trust and a list of guesses. A dismissed detection stays dismissed and drops out of the watch entirely; everything else stays under price-change protection whether you have confirmed it yet or not.

From detected to planned

Detection tells you what is recurring; scheduling makes it part of the plan. Confirmed subscriptions are natural candidates for scheduled transactions, which feed the calendar and forecast and let the bank feed confirm each charge as it lands.

What next

A confirmed subscription list is also a cancellation list waiting to be read with fresh eyes. Pair it with a Subscriptions category and the budget tells you what the habit costs per month, which is the number that changes minds.
