Mobile login, 2FA, and biometrics

One account, one password, one 2FA. The phone adds the convenience layer: your face or fingerprint.

Signing in

The apps use the same credentials as the web, and the same rules: a new account must verify its email before the first sign-in, and password resets requested from the phone work identically to the web's. If two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, the app asks for your authenticator code after the password, exactly as the browser does; there is no separate mobile 2FA to configure.

Biometric unlock

Once signed in, biometric unlock can be enabled in the app's Settings: Face ID on iPhones, fingerprint on Android. Enabling it asks for your password once, to confirm it is you making the decision, and from then on opening the app is a glance or a touch. Your password still exists and still works; biometrics are a faster door to the same lock, and disabling them in Settings returns you to password entry.

If Face ID stops offering itself

Biometric prompts depend on the device's own settings too: the app needs permission to use Face ID or the fingerprint sensor, and a changed device passcode can reset that consent. Check the phone's settings for Endute's permissions first, then the app's own Settings toggle. If it still misbehaves, tell us the device model and the app version, which the Settings screen shows under About.

Sessions and the paywall

  • The app keeps you signed in between visits; signing out is explicit, via Sign Out on the More tab.
  • An expired trial or lapsed subscription shows the subscription screen rather than your data disappearing; your ledger is intact and returns with the subscription.

What next

Two-factor setup itself, along with passwords and remember-me on the web, is covered in the account security guide.
